This is an excellent blog that is highly recommended!

I’ve started a low-carb approach to eating and unfortunately, there are only a few deals to be found for that. Pouring over sales ads, coupons and talking about food in general can/may induce cravings that won’t ensure my long term success.

Happy Shopping All!

  1. It’s stupid that there are few sales or deals for fresh fruits & veggies, meats, & dairy. :P

  2. Stupid, yes, though logical. Grocery coupons are distributed by food corporations. Huge corporate farms with brand names do come out once in a while, but not often enough. Most produce/fresh meat coupons I’ve seen are in conjunction with corporate food – buy 2 packages of bacon and get a head of lettuce free, or buy 2 bottles of A1 sauce and save $2 on steak.

I’ll still catch deals to eat low-carb. I already have 3 dozen coupons in my organizer for different brands of nuts, waiting for a sale. (I won’t be adding them into my diet for a few weeks, so no hurry.) I’ll get deals on sour cream, cheese, dips, butter, and packaged meats. I’ll still be shopping for carbohydrates for the rest of my family, but I am so stocked up on many things that I won’t be chasing after every deal and I think to make this blog work, that’s what I need to do!

  3. So sorry that you are not going to be doing this any more, I really enjoyed reading your blog and getting the deals. Looks like the other blog you suggested is no longer going to post either. Thanks for all you have done, I appreciated your time.

  4. I’ve been a follower for a short period of time and just started using coupons literally the day before you posted this, I saved $20.00 and I was geeked!
Maye you can still post who’s got the best produce deals and how you’re still saving money even while eating healthy! I would definately be motivated to eat healthier if it was less expensive! Thanks for all of your great ideas thus far!
